It has been brought to my attention that art, in this day and age, can very easily be inauthentic.
It can be generated by AI and deemed 'original', simply due to a paintbrush hitting the canvas. It can be projected onto a screen and stenciled. It can be straight up traced.
It sucks in some ways, to not know what you're getting. To pay for something inauthentic. But to copy is to learn. I'm sure I've done it in the past - consciously or subconsciously.. but that is what makes true art worth its value. Especially right now- to know the process is to know the art and know that the artist is giving organic authentic energy into their work.

Money is being made from AI art, that is for certain. Just want something interesting for your walls? Then go for it. It is similar to buying something mass produced in many ways - the energy is inauthentic. It is like eating factor farmed meats or heavily processed foods. Real art is like real food. It provides nutrition to your soul. you feel it in some way or another.
Maybe it comforts you to know or feel that someone has gone through the same thing as you. Or maybe it uplifts you- inspires you to be better. Maybe, it brings you to a place in time or to somewhere you've been or dreamed of going. Maybe it brings you closer to someone you love- or it is an expression of love through the image itself or through the art of giving.
Art is here to stay.
It is truly like nutrition for your energy. it brings you somewhere- and if the artist is good enough - it brings you into their world or shows you what they see.

AI can be helpful and has helped me generate reference images- I will admit to that. But the result and the interpretation of that image is my own. I would never intentionally produce a piece without painting or creating it on my own, without listing it as such. There is nothing wrong with those images.. but make sure you look at their hands.
