The painting itself is not delicate - the inspiration is.
Like the muse in 'the war of art', I believe that inspiration and ideas are in a realm near to us.
So close yet So far.
We feel them as they approach, and long for them when they pass us by.
Ideas ARE inspiration.
We are inspired when we capture them. When we hold on to them long enough to get them into the physical realm- into words, paintings, illustrations, sculptures or any medium you can think of.

We are sent messages in in many different forms.
Synchronicities. Chance meetings. Ideas. Sparks of inspiration.
They show us that we are on the right path, or that our thinking is in tune with our higher selves.
It is our job to learn to recognize them and to act upon them quickly enough to not lose them.

Don't let the fear of 'ruining things' slow you down.
Act. DO the thing. Don't let perfectionism get in the way.
But also,
learn when to stop.
There is a fine line. Overdoing it is almost as bad as failing to act.
Thoughts can be, and often are more delicate than things.
